Grounded Graduate
The Grounded Graduate program provides behavior modification solutions.
Is your dog often “grounded” - only allowed to go on walks at off hours or in quiet places due to their behaviors? Kept in a separate room when guests come over because of their reactivity? Or have they grounded you – you can’t go anywhere because of their crippling separation anxiety? You no longer have guests over because your dog is more than unwelcoming?
This program will take you and your dog from “grounded” in the negative way to “grounded” in the positive way – calm, collected, confident. Imagine enjoying walks with your dog without any stressful or embarrassing meltdowns. Imagine your dogs coexisting peacefully in your home. Imagine being confident in leaving your dog home alone for a couple of hours. Imagine your dog relaxing around guests instead of barking, pacing, or nipping them.
With no limits on time or number of lessons, this program will give you and your dog the time and attention you need to get to the root causes of your dog’s troubling behaviors. We’ll trade in fears for freedom, uncertainty for clarity, and stress for relief.
People who complete this program often feel more confident and certain about life with their dogs.
This program is great if:
-
your dog doesn't handle being left alone very well
-
it's currently difficult or unenjoyable to walk your dog because of their barking and lunging
-
guests are afraid of coming over because of your dog, or you feel stressed about having people in your home because of your dog
-
you don't feel safe around your dog when they have food or toys
-
your dogs are currently unable to live peacefully together
-
grooming, trimming nails, or other care practices are stressful for your dog (and you)
-
your dog is afraid of getting in the car, going up or down stairs, or other aspects of their lives
-
you want stability and certainty in your everyday life - you don’t need your dog to be able to go into busy public places, you just need them to be secure in your normal day-to-day life
This program is typically completed in about 8 weeks and includes:
-
everything in the Budding Bachelor program
-
3 months of support after the program ends to help keep you and your dog on the right track
This program covers things like:
-
separation anxiety
-
reactivity
-
aggression
-
resource guarding
-
fears and anxiety
-
cooperative care (i.e., grooming, nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.)
